Error Nuker
Review
Error Nuker Performance
The first scan I did with Error Nuker I found to take a bit
longer then some of the similar registry repair and PC
optimization tools I've tested. While not a horrible thing, I
presumed it would discover a longer list of errors then other
tools.
Like most of it's competitors Error Nuker offered a very in
depth system scan, checking not only the registry, but also the
hard disk, start files, DLL files, and device driver
associations (it's possible the scan took a bit longer because
it scanned more then just my system registry).
After the full scan was run, and the errors repaired there
was a noticeable difference in the performance and speed of my
PC. Error Nuker especially seemed to improve the Start up time
of Windows. There were no error messages, or warnings after
Error Nuker was run.
User Experience
The interface for Error Nuker is pretty straight forward.
The layout wasn't fancy, rather functional and straight
forward. I found it quite easy to go from my initial system
scan right through to the repair stages. I'd feel very
comfortable suggesting Error Nuker to a beginner computer
user.
The process went more or less like
this:
Registry Scan: There are two options, both manual and
auto scan, like most of the registry repair tools we've
reviewed. During the manual scan you can choose which types of
errors you look for, and in turn repair.
Simple Removal and Repair: After the scan was
complete Error Nuker provided very straight forward directions
to delete or repair the invalid items and errors found during
the scan.
GREAT FEATURE: Unlike some of the
other registry repair tools I've seen, Error Nuker offers and
automatic backup utility. Some of the other programs require
you to turn this feature on before doing any repairs. This is
very important to ensure any changes can be undone if you're
not happy with the changes or performance.
Like most other repair tools Error Nuker offers a scheduling
feature, which allows you to run a system scan every day, week,
month etc. It's a very worth while option to setup to run at
least monthly depending on your PC usage.
Over all I like the interface, and usability of Error Nuker.
I felt it stacked up well to the competition and did an
adequate job delivering on the features it promised on the
sales page of their webs
After Sales Support: After purchasing Error
Nuker has a support desk on their website to ask questions.
Technical support is only provided to those with a registered
version of the software.
