After hours of testing and comparison on my home PC I’ve come to a conclusion on the best registry cleaner.
I tested the top registry repair programs on the same computer with 4 different tests and did a complete features comparison to come up with my results. If you’d like to read about the entire test you can read our registry cleaner comparison.

The Best Registry Cleaner Is: Registry EasyAfter completeing 5 tests and comparisons, Registry Easy is my top choice. It finished #1 in 3 of 5 tests, and #2 in the other 2 tests. Registry Easy is a user friendly and effective registry cleaner that can improve the performance and speed of your PC. |
To ensure I was giving each registry cleaner a fair try I set a Windows® system restore point before running each registry cleaner and repairing errors. This ensured each program was starting with the same set of registry items, start-up programs etc.
I compared the results from four different tests:
Besides actual tests I also did a full features comparison. I know you’re buying this program to clean out your Windows® registry but there are a lot of additional features some registry cleaners offer that can improve your system speed and performance.
Example Features are: Memory optimizer, evidence eraser, duplicate file checker, Start-up manager
Registry Easy combined the best results in each of my tests with the most added features to become the best registry cleaner in my opinion.
Registry Easy has a very easy to navigate interface. There’s big buttons and good explanations of what each added feature does to your computer.

I found when using other registry cleaner programs there wasn’t always a good explanation about what each feature did. I believe this would leave many beginner PC users wondering if they should or shouldn’t push a particular button.
Registry Easy’s scan time was average, as was the number of errors found. I don’t place a huge amount of weight in the number of errors found by a registry repair program since not all errors are as urgent as another. What I did place a lot of weight on was the percentage of errors found that were repaired.
An interesting point was that no registry cleaner I tested actually repaired 100% of the errors found. Registry Easy faired the best repairing 63% of the items it found.
The bonus utilities of the best registry cleaner are what allowed me to improve the start-up time of my test PC so dramatically. The start-up manager, memory optimizer, system optimizer, duplicate file cleaner and error utility each helped speed up the response and start-up time of Windows®.
I believe that Registry Easy can provide a worth while improvement to the performance of your PC based on my test results. Of course no two computers are the exact same so you really need to try the program for yourself to gauge your potential results.
You can download the free scan utility from Registry Easy to see how many potential errors are on your computer. You can then decide if it’s worth paying for a registered version to repair the errors found and run all of the added bonus features of the program.
